Search for New Value of Leading Enterprises  ^●  Enhance Business Purpose by Personal Breakthrough 

To promote practical development through case studies and enhance the learning outcomes, the HKU Institute for China Business will take students to visit leading enterprises, engage management team and entrepreneurs with dialogue, and explore how to grow and develop enterprises through seminars. During the research, the Institute will invite outstanding students to participate in compiling the cases into publication.  As such, it will elevate the value of corporate case research in the promotion and development of teaching effectiveness in class. Meanwhile, it will provide valuable experience for the diversified development of enterprises.

• HKU ICB leads students to explore the key success factors and development direction of leading enterprises
• Learn from the development experience of leading enterprises, enhance students' innovation management ability and competitiveness
• Facilitate exchanges with leading enterprises and other related organisations to build a chain of cooperation at the triple-helix level
   

+ Interactive mobile classes

• Students will have access to a wide range of materials and submit notes on their learning experience before the visit
• Visit enterprises on-site to exchange information and learn from business leaders about their successful experiences
• Brainstorming sessions among teachers, students and corporate executives and analytical discussions on varied topics
   

+ Discussion of real-life corporate case studies

• Conduct a group study based on the actual situation of the enterprise
• Analyse corporate needs and co-explore ideas of feasible solutions
• Case report, review, summary, conclusion, and in-depth application of learning

Corporate Visit Process

• Company introduction, site visit
• Professional discussion: Sharing of Business leaders, conversation with business leaders, group discussion, brainstorming, report and review
• Summary of the corporate visit
• Exchange between corporate executives and teachers and students

Information for Registration

The application, registration and payment process will be announced about two months before the start of each corporate case research session. Note: Accommodation and transportation costs will be borne by students themselves.
