Calvin Chan is a seasoned expert in digital marketing with nearly 20 years of experience. He is currently the CEO of VIOOH China, a globally leading digital out-of-home advertising technology platform, where he oversees business expansion and strategic development in the Greater China region.
Calvin has held several senior management positions in the fields of digital marketing and advertising technology throughout his career. He was the inaugural General Manager of The Trade Desk in China, playing a pivotal role in the company's rapid business growth and talent development in the Chinese market. Prior to this, he served as the CEO of AdMaster and Senior Vice President of Mininglamp Technology, as well as holding management positions at The Nielsen Company in both China and the United States.
His contributions to the industry have earned him widespread recognition. Calvin was named one of Campaign Magazine's "40 Under 40 APAC Leaders" and is featured in "China's Digital A-List." He has also been elected as the Co-Chair of MMA China for two consecutive terms from 2020 to 2022, served as a board member of the China Advertising Association, and acted as the Executive Chairman of the ECI@MarTech Committee. Furthermore, he has been a judge for numerous prestigious industry awards and is a frequent speaker at major industry conferences, advocating for innovation and development in the digital economy.
Calvin holds a Bachelor's degree in Business (Marketing) and a Master's degree in Humanities from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Beyond his professional achievements, he is passionate about education and community service, often serving as a guest lecturer at top universities such as Peking University and Fudan University, where he shares his industry insights and expertise.
